I need some names fast. I have had it with me and my deciding on my dogs name.
I don't want to give him a name like the K9 officer here in town as his name is Rip.
I figure that would be too overbearing and people would fear the dog before meeting him.
But at the same time my dog will not be a Newfoundland either and will more liely than not get into someones rear end if the time called for it.
He's still young 3mo and I haven't named him yet.
I had a name, Damien, but 2 people already said its the devils son or whatever and I never knew that.
Then I was thinking about Rhino, Kermit, Troll, Goblin, SPike, Mohawk, Red, Tito, and that's it. Some of the names from his origin seem like they are a bit far fetched. Almost like they are hard to pronounce.
But I am not partial to anything. Give me your dogs or friends dog's name regardless of what it is.
Let me add he is a male. So nothing like Daisy or Betty. That's a bit too feminine and non threatening...

oh yea, I forgot. If this helps any, he is a Malinois...
What about Diablo? But there's that devil thing again.... I really don't care so let me hear what you dog's name is no matter how extreme.....
Tyr--The Germanic God that saved mankind by placing his arm in the hound of hells mouth and having it torn off--pronounced Teer. This is our pups name.
We found the best names on turkish and german dog name web pages. I've found our dogs respond best to short names with long vowel sounds.
