Bit of news. Sent them a few bucks.
Recollect that the Almighty, who gave the dog to be companion of our pleasures and our toils, hath invested him with a nature noble and incapable of deceit.
This is a very bothersome story for me to read! I hope to try and help out by asking for donations for my local Pet Stores and Walmart or something. Not only is this disturbing to me it pisses me off to the point that I'm leaving the computer for awhile...........
How many dogs are we talking about here?
I cannot stand to think of these dogs being mistreated this way. Yes, I think mistreating them is the appropriate word in this case. I also cannot believe that our Government did not have the foresight (sp?) to prepare for this problem. I myself would starve before I would let my dog die. Shit I'm pissed!
I can't believe PETA hasn't got a hold of this story.
I read the same. Reads like we provided them the dogs, but no way to feed them.
Hopefully the press will draw attention to the situation. Looks like some companies are helping out.
Even MREs would keep them from starving.
Recollect that the Almighty, who gave the dog to be companion of our pleasures and our toils, hath invested him with a nature noble and incapable of deceit.
Personally I don't care who's dogs they are Robert. These dogs need our help and they are providing a dangerous service to ALL our Vets in Iraq. I've e-mailed our local tv stations with the link. I hope everyone gets involved in this one.
Sent it out to all my motorcycle sites. Each has members from 4,000 to 20,000 members, maybe more so someone will send it on to other forums and I explained to send it to the media so it'll probably spread like wild fire. The sites I frequents tend to shoot things like this around pretty fast...
