I have not used him b/c there is another repro vet closer to me (Slade Vet in Framingham). However, I know many Rottweiler breeders who love him dearly and have had great success with him. I've also been to a seminar that he put on and it was well done, he's an excellent speaker with a lot of patience.....therefore, I would think he would be an enjoyable clinician to work with.

Thankyou for your reply. My bitch is at Dr. Truesdales now and she is scheduled for the AI tomorrow!! I am very excited. I met Dr. T and he is just wonderful in person. Slade is closer to me too but due to a few circumstances I ended up with Dr. T.
Dr. Truesdale and Anita Migday are the only two vets in New England that anyone has recommended to me for this proceedure
Have you tried frozen surgical before? If so, results?

Cindy, I have done the surgery and only got 3 pups...this was done at Slade, which is a wonderful place both facility and staff wise. I am very familiar with Dr. Truesdale also, and have used him extensivly but only for general and he has collected sperm for me too. If I was still in Rhode Island, I would be using him, but I use Slade now because of it being closer for me.
Hi! Well my girl "Honey" is inseminated and now it is time to wait (and pray!) and hope she is pregnant. We bred her via 4 straws of frozen semen surgically inseminated by Dr. Truesdale on March 4.. The stud dog is Ch. Windkist A Walk In The Park. He is the #1 15" Beagle, but I loved him long before he was ever famous in our breed. That is great to add another repro vets name to the list. I am sure other members will find your reference very useful Jody! I live up in NH so just driving to Dr. T's in Seekonk, Mass. was a haul for me.
It's funny, I keep looking at my bitch and expecting to be able to tell if she is pregnant by the look in her eyes or something....no signs yet, lol.
