A friend of mine has a 12 y/o female GSD, he still wants to take her on walks on the street, he says that she get tired in less than 10 minutes, and is overweight. I told him not to take her on walks anymore. What are you toughts on this? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
NOT to take the dog on walks? That's just worse. If she's overweight, your friend ought to cut back on the dog's diet, and better yet switch to a natural, premium brand of dog food, or go all-natural altogether. Take the dog out for five minutes. Over time she'll improve.
