I am going to post this weblink to a video I have of some of my airborne students jumping. I am in the video grabbing static line, and for those that don't know what that is it's the yellow cord attatched to the jumpers, you'll see them handing me their static line AKA "LIFELINE", lol. In the begining you'll see a guy lean out the plane and look behind it, thats not me, the guy leaning out everytime after that is me. Yes Will, aahhh the pleasures of safty duties when you actually get to ride that perfect plane back in! I have been asked privatly by so many board members exactly what I do at work, so here it is!! It is 4min long. CHRIS DUHON AT WORK! enjoy
ha, I punked you, I punked you all!! Actually thats not video of me, but it is at jump school where I teach and Ed's son Jeff graduated from not long ago, before his tour to Iraq. The two guys who obviously look like they are in charge is what I do. Sometimes I am the Jumpmaster, and Jump last after the students, like the guy in the video, and sometimes I'm the guy that doesn't jump but control the students lifeline and attempt to prevent them from severely or even fatally injuring themselves while exiting attatched to the static line. We instruct on the ground and 3weeks later we throw them out the plane just like what you saw. They also, jump at night, But for those that have wondered what in the hell I do everyday in the Army and are their tax dollars being wasted on me on the internet at work (well, sometimes this is what I really do when I work. Hope I don't get in trouble for posting this here, I just thought alot of people on here would find it cool, since I get asked about it alot in PM's
