I am curious if anyone has any recommendations on getting a dog shipped from Amsterdam, Netherlands.
I tried Delta and Continental International Cargo and they only work thru a pet travel agent (4 international calls later I was told this) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />
Somehow I got the number to EXEL (Amsterdam Pet Travel Agency) and these folks should not be in business in my opinion. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />
It’s been (2) weeks since I completed the quote form, (2) emails saying they are out of the office for various reasons, and finally a response only giving me embargo information in the event of exceedingly hot weather.
Any recommendations of alternate pet travel agencies and direct numbers would be great. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

The pup is due in July and won't be ready until Sept. DTC actually never emailed me back after I sent a form for a quote. Exel (lazy bastards) did finally respond with a quote so I'm sure I may be using them.
How do you normally get a quote from DTC? via email or phone? My success (not to mention phone bill) in calls has been <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />
Lorenzo, check out the website below. I have shipped two dogs from Europe and Helmut and his team are commonly regarded as the best. This guy will get the job done for you!

Does Gradlyn ship from there?
In all our dealings with Gradlyn, they email/call back promptly, follow up with shipment information, confirm shipment of dog and then confirm with you receipt of dog.
GK will pick them up and send them from Frankfurt.
You'll pay for the pickup and transport to Frankfurt. They do a good job but in case you have to ship a dog from Schipol you might use Pet Air or DTC and save a bit due to the transport and pickup fees.
