Okay, first off, please don't take this as whining...
I'm just a little confused...
The post "Crooked Dealers" CLEARLY mentions names
"Mark Daniels Sr. of New Jersey and Jimmy Ryan from North Carolina are two of the biggest con men"
and is still unlocked and on the page....
However, my last post in Missing Dog, which was a reply to Michael DeChellis, which mainly went in to detail about why I care so much about who has my dogs, and did happen to mention some individuals by name, was deleted entirely, AND the post was locked again???
What's up with that???
Could somebody please explain the rules that I am obviously not understanding?
Tammy, I'm not aware of what has happened here or if anything was deleted ( and if so, by who ), please contact Admin or Ed with your questions - perhaps they know.
You have your side of the story, and others have theirs. You can post whatever you wish on your own website but if you are going to post here, you will not name others in a derogatory light. Whether it's true or not makes no difference. If you feel the need to go into detail about this, take it private.
Don't worry about what others post, they will be told the same thing.
Ed has communicated with you already about this so I would say you already knew the "rules"
We just got back from a week out of town and really could find better things to do with our time today (as I am sure all our moderators could too)

Fair enough. As I said, I was just confused at one being allowed and another not... my communication with Ed really didn't go into details about what remarks are considered derogatory.
My reply to Michael DeChellis did include the name of the party involved, and in my mind only listed the facts as told to me by him. I would agree of course that not everyone knows that as a fact, and it could be interpreted as derogatory on my part.
I apologize for forgetting my "manners". My main goal is to get Draco back and to help people to understand why it's so important that breeders do indeed have a say in where their offspring go.
I think I have my reply saved on my work computer, I would like the opportunity to repost it without the names. It really is just about a day in our life as passionate breeders who care about the offspring we produce.
Alternately, I guess I can reply to Michael in a private email.
Again, I apologize for "speaking" without proper consideration.
