Up for adoption to a good home is our dog - Demo - a 5 year old Leerburg GSD out of Ron Vom Peeko Haus and Lucy. He has his BH title. German A stamp (hips). Should be only dog in house. Perfect for handler with experience. Good food and ball drive. Call for information and pictures.
Should be only dog? Or must be? Sounds like he has some dog aggression issues. I would be very interested in a Leerburg dog, but he would have to be able to live in a home with other dogs.
I can tell you - he talked to me first. He wants a top competition dog and this dog is too sharp for that. Lucy was a sharp bitch - Ron was a dominat male. The dog probably would have made a better police service dog than a competition dog - although he got the BH.
The dog should only go with someone who has alittle experience and he needs to be careful of dog dealers lurking on the board - we just had issues like this on a Doberman on this board.
This sounds like a good opportunity for someone to work a dog that would be a good candidate for a *real* ppd. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
I am currently working a dog for bigger competitions. I dont think Demo is good for the sport. He needs to be in a home where he is the only dog, bond with the owner, do a little training to keep him in shape and have fun with him. Ed is right. He is a little sharp for the sport and it is a lot of work if you are thinking of competing with him. He would make a great personal protection dog for the home and companionship. I will not give this dog to just anyone. I will need references and then I'll make my decision which home is best for him.
