Hi all,
Brandi here. My trainer that I was working with decided to back out of training me and my Police Dog. SO....
I'm looking for a new one. I live in Sandusky Ohio. About 45 minutes West of Cleveland. I'm right off lake Erie and Sandusky Bay. Does ANYONE know of a trainer in my area?

You can always take the dog to Cedar Point for training!
Sorry, little Cleveland area humor!
I miss Ohio sometimes...but not during the winter.

You might check out these clubs, although I can't vouch for the distance from you. You'd also need to inquire about Canine training, as they may be straight SchH clubs.

My PSD was obtained and trained by Nick and Tammy at Northcoast... They are realy nice people and EXTREEMLY knowledgable trainers.
They have Schutzhund Club on Wed. nights and either Sat or Sun mornings at their training facility in Monroeville, OH. They have a good turn out people who are realy down to earth and actually help each other They have some very good decoys in their club. Wally Ritchie who HO&T Odin von der Roterau is a very strong and demanding decoy.

They have placed about 25 dogs with the Erie (Pa) PD and like 35 dogs with the Kalamazoo (MI)PD.... they put out some very nice, very true street dogs. I go visit every three months for an evaluation of what's going on with my dog's training and changes we need to make to increase performance..... deffinatly drive down for a visit.

TD of NEOPWDA is a NAPAWADA certified trainer, and does train several departments as well as being the TD of schutzhund club. Has also raised quite a few dogs who are now certified I believe. Training at NEOPWDA is Weds eves and all day Sunday.

				Thank you ALL!
I do know of NorthCoast. Tammy and Nick. I buy my jute toys from them. They do have a nice facility. They are only like 10 minutes from where I live. Though I heard that he is not an OPOTA cert'd trainer and that his paper work keeps getting returned from OPOTA and because of this, the Police Dogs are not yet OPOTA cert'd.
But, I will consider.
Thank you, Brandi
