John, if you buy a puppy from a kennel in Europe they ship it to you after it reaches the age of 8 weeks. I think that your puppy is older than that. Ask your vet if the puppy's health will allow it to travel.
ok i have some qusetion here i order male puppy from Belgium
from Mr.Rinus Bastiaansen it is really good man but my qusetion is i am from kuwait and the weather is really not like europ here is hot.
i want to know what to do? becouse i will build a kennel for him in my pack yard.
Suod, if you want to build a kennel in your backyard, you are going to need to build in some kind of cooling system. Not necessarily an A/C, but at least a fan or something. And you need to have alot of water always available. Kuwait is in a desert region and it gets very hot over there. Is it a GSD you are purchasing? If so, they have a thick coat and can suffer a heat stroke in 90+ temeperature (farenheit.) Taking your puppy to a lake or pool really helps them cool off!
Why did you plan an overseas vacation during this time period if you are concerned about missing a developmental window in your puppy's life? No offense, but shipping a 3 month old pup overseas so he can be with you will you are busy seeing the sites is not ideal (in my personal opinion). Also consider quarantine laws (if there are any). Good luck with whatever you decide <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Good question. We have a cottage in Greece where we go for 6 weeks each year. The vacation time is the same every year. We had a beautiful miniature schnauzer which we would take with us every year. He travelled well and loved the cottage. Unfortunately we lost him last year. We found an excellent breeder who agreed to keep one of her puppies from the next litter. We really didn't know exactly when we would be getting the new puppy. As it turned out our new family member will be 11 weeks old at the time of our trip. Would it be better for the puppy to leave it behind (probably with the breeder), or take it with us. At our cottage we don't travel around and the puppy would be with me all the time.
That the scoop..
