If everything goes as planned this weekend, I'll be taking Adam (my husband) down to Wayne Simanovich's. I went last weekend and had a BLAST, but it was drill weekend for Adam and he didn't go with me. Wayne just imported a B E A U T I F U L bitch from the Czech Republic (name: Justa) that is due to come in heat sometime during the next two weeks. He called me lastnight to let me know she was on the way to his place, and said he plans on breeding her with Butan or Baron, and he's pretty excited about it. She's supposedly one of Europe's best. He said he can't wait for me to see her. Neither can I.

Sounds like fun to me. I love the look of the Czech dogs. Haven't had the opportunity to meet any of them. My husband and I were just in the Czech Repuclic and I kept my eyes out for GSD's and I didn't see even one . I was so dissapointed. I saw lots of other breeds, especially Daschund's and Cocker's. I was surprised how dog friendly that city was. Although, that was my first time in Europe and I have been told most of Europe is more dog friendly than the states. Although I do have to say that Colorado was very dog friendly when I visited.
I think everywhere is more dog friendly than Orlando... Florida in general is a pain to find anything to do with your dog - you'd think that camping would be something that you could bring your dog to - the nice camping grounds that we go to (young children with us... easier to go somewhere that has a nice public restroom) won't allow dogs - most beaches don't allow dogs, most stores don't allow dogs, most parks have No Dogs Allowed signs, it's ridiculous. I went to Toronto a few weeks ago and everywhere I went I saw someone with their dog, it was awesome.
I love the way Czech dogs look too - be sure to post pics if you take any!

I am surprised that you say Florida is not dog friendly. When I went down house hunting last year, I met with Animal control to get clarification on some of the dog laws they have. I found it to be a dog friendly area. Well at least Hernando county area. I do know that when I walked my GSD in Tampa, most people avoided me like the plague. I still wish I had moved to Florida.
