I thought I would give an update on our on-going problem, and the relief I found. I took Kato back for another check up and had a good hour visit with the vet. He must hate me by now with all the questions I bombard him with. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> But thats what he's there for, right? We decided on a couple options. A dermatologist for a skin punch test and a switch to a grain free diet. The vet even mentioned going to raw. I found a dermatologist for him, made the appointment, and looked for a new food. We tried out Natural Balance Venison and rice. Within two weeks, his face is clear, hair growth is starting on his muzzle and he has finally stopped rubbing his face across the carpet. Not sure the skin test is needed at this point, but I am going to invest in allergy testing.
