I am wondering if there is a relationship (if thats the word, exactly) between a dogs (or a line's) hardness and the incidence of rankness problems. How they correspond. And how sharpness fits in there....in the same sense.
Also, Will has spoken of how rare "fight drive" is and I would love more of a definition of this and how it relates to prey drive. Hope these arent stupid questions.

Hardness referrs to how quickly a dog recovers from a correction. A hard dog recovers quickly.
A dog with rank problems is a dog with pack issues. When people use the term RANK they are talking about a dominant dog. Dominance does not neccessarily referr to or mean a dog is hard.
It's possible to have a hard dog that is not dominant.
Sharpness usually means a dog has a low threshild for stress. They are dogs who are quick to bark when they are stressed
