does antone know or know where to find romanian commands.
imported a dog to go to florida p.d (from hungary)great dog great drives.
usually the hungarian dogs with ob training transfer to german with no problem. this dog a 2 year old is supposed to have great ob but i dont see it with the german commands so i was wondering about the romanian commands. any help will be greatly appreciated. TOM URBAN K9 DEFENSE
Chances are you will not be able to pronounce commands right and you will end up like me trying to speak dutch and my mali bitch looking me funny...
Retraining to new commands goes real fast if they know the drill.
Retrain the dog. I had a Belgian import trained in Flemish and I re-trained him for German in less than a month for competition. Well worth the effort.
thank you all who so far replied. Will every time i go through dr. p's web site i get worms trojans and have to shut down and scan for virus's also i would like to clarify my problem.we have imported at least a hundred dogs over the years from numerous countries, we transfur them all to german with no problem.
this dog a 2 year old is the first for us from romania. he came in on the 22 of sept. yesterday the 24th i tested him to my duel purpose police service dog standards.
he passed with flying colors ( it was our green dog test)
this dog didnt how ever respond to any aspect of ob commands i/e prong color heeling body language hand signals his ball nothing.
this dog will go to its new handler oct 2nd. i was told by my supplier he has great ob. i also understand this dog does not no me or this new environment from adam. it might just take him a couple of more days to settle in. i thought it might be a little easier if i knew a couple of romanian commands to help him settle in. sit heal etc.he will be trained in german i just wanted to see what he had in him allready thanks again tom
