i hate forum people that always say search search search and it bothers me when i did search the past five years and didnt find the info i wanted people on forums shouldnt talk unless they have somethin to say about the subject forums have so much usless reading to go threw b4 u find what ur lookin 4 because some people just have to type in every thread they look at
just did a lot of searching searched for every school i mentioned and went back years and didnt find much
all the people here with knowledge about dog training i was expecting much more in depth info
Well, everybody hates something.
Personally, I don't care much for people that are too lazy to spell or use correct grammar. I usually won't reply to their posts at all, I only posted in yours to point out the use of the search function.
I won't make the mistake of replying to someone that's rude again, don't worry. And with your attitude, you may find that many of the other experienced trainers won't either.
If you didn't find the information, you simply weren't searching correctly. We discussed those schools at least a dozen times in the past few years. There's a sticky at the start of every forum on the correct use of the search function.
Enjoy your stay here. Alienating fellow posters is a great start. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
If it's taking you 2 mins. to find just one thread on the subject......well, you're just not doing it correctly, sorry.
Look, I did:
I clicked on the Search function.
I left the forum(s) to search at All Forums.
In the Keyword search terms box I wrote in "dog training school" ( the term *has* to be in quotes, that's the key to getting the search to cover all the words )
In Date range I changed it to newer than 5 years.
I hit the "submit" button.
34 threads popped up - which took me all of maybe 15 seconds to do.
This method is explained in simple, easy to follow steps in the sticky that's at the beginning to all forums.
I should have been clearer. It took me about two minutes to search find a good thread for this person and type my reply.
I did find alot of threads I just chose the one to show the poster. Then took some time to post it. That is where I get the two minutes. To find a thread takes seconds really.
Ahh, sorry Daniel!
Nice to hear that someone else is finding the search function easy to use - thanks! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I'm PMing you with SEVENTEEN threads that popped up after I did a ten-second search, and I sure do appreciate that fact that when a topic has been covered a hundred times in every possible way, the forum members aren't interested in typing in the SAME INFO over and over again! If you're "sick of it," maybe you are running into the same problem in yourself again and again....... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> Give it a try, using it as instructed. ADJUST THE DATE RANGE so it's not one week! It really works great.
