Hey yall, I should have introduced myself better when I first registered, rather than just start asking a million and one questions. My name is Cliff Murphy for anybody who does not already know that. I am a police officer with the Washington DC Metropolitan Police and I live in Maryland with my 9 month old GSD " Montana ". I adopted him from the county shelter that I reside nearby, I was a little skeptical about adopting, but I wanted to save a life so I adopted Montana, he came there as a stray and I had no idea what kind of a life he had before he came there, he was only three months old. To a shock, I had him housebroken in a matter of days, he learned to tap the doorknob with his nose to go out. He's now 80 pounds and is about 9 months and has a heart of gold and loads of energy and motivation to train, I want to protection train and teach him to track. I have a friend who is a K9 corrections sergeant helping me out, but he has limited time because of work. If any of you have any info that you'd like to throw by me, don't be shy. The more the better. Thank You
