i have now a German Spitz who is approx one year old..he is lovely, sweet and always gentle and looking for the attention ...but only problem with him is sumthing strange which makes me curious is that sumtimes he refuse to go sumewhere....for example,i take him out..and he is doing just fine..but all of a sudden he refuses to walk where i want to go with him...then i push him and he even pushes backward ...another example,he likes to live in the backyard...but if i try to take him in the balcony he simply refuses it and stops and then he even try to pull off his collar and leash...i try harder him to go with me but he just refuses and stands and push himself back..........why is that?...why he refuses ?..rest of his behaviour is just OK.
note: sumtimes only sumtimes he even tries to pull his collar off by pulling himself back with it
Stop with the prong collar answer for every question. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> God! learn how to teach a dog something before you respond with this crap. I have seen this before with these dogs. They are full of piss and vinegar, and this is a form of dominence, and the pushing and stuff has become game. I would bring food on my walks and get the dog past the sticking points that way. The balcony? So what he doesn't go there.
