I just got a 15wk old Rott male puppy. He has some good blodlines. The only problem I have with him is;
He loves rocks, and he will try to eat them. How can I brake him from picking them up? I have never had this problem with a puppy, but never gotten one at this age. He already knnows sit and come.

My puppy did the same thing with rocks, sticks acorns, hickory nuts cicadas, june bugs ect. Just a vacuum cleaner at that age. Try to keep him away from them as much as you can as they could cause intestinal blockage. Try getting him into drive with a favorite toy when he does this so he will lose interest. Eventualy he will outgrow this behavior, at least mine finally did.
Hi Chuck, I have the same problem not only with rocks but with anything bark, dirt ect. What I did is everytime he goes for the object I don't want him eating I give a stern no, say his name and give him a treat. After a few times of this as soon as I say no he drops the object he picked up and runs to me for his treat. Hope this helps!
