I have an all black Mal, and live in Iowa, so now that the weather is starting to get chilly, his skin is getting drier, hence dandruff that really shows up with his black coat!!....I brush him daily and use a coat conditioner, but it doesnt seem to work. Thanks for any tips...!

Use "search," type in "dandruff," and expand the date range (which is pre-set to one week). I too use fish oil (along with other Omega-3 sources) for humans and dogs, and I think it's the number-one supplement in my house.

Look how well it does for the people in the commercials. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> I would stick to the fish oils, and leave the conditioners out of it. They really aren't that effective. The brushing will help if you use a boars hair brush. It is good at spreading the natural oils around, where plastics don't. You can also tell how bored I am right now by the fact that I posted info for something as lame as this.
