The link you provided says the protection course is 14-18 weeks. He at least screens people. I don't know, why dont you just spend the thousand and find out for yourself.
Mike, just pay a wino ten bucks, you'll get helper work at the same skill level of this guy. And I'm not kidding one bit.
Just look at the "Protection Phase" still pictures and videos.
Their protection work" consisting of a helper that can't even catch a dog ( *very* unskilled work ) and a sleeve that doesn't *EVEN HAVE A COVER ON IT*, for cripes sakes!!
He's an AKC Conformation handler ( and not a good one, by the way ) that's trying to branch out.
Ask him on the phone what "titles" he's earned or what SchH club he works with - that'll be a short conversation.
ROTFLMMFAO!!!! My God, I think this guy takes the biggest fraud of the year award. I looked at the clips and you call that protection training. If that is the best he had for his website it alludes to the fact that he thinks those dogs are finished and ready. I really liked the double sleeve deal I thought that was really hilarious. Sad thing is this guy probably makes a killing$$$ to. This was by far one of the most hilarious "protection sites" I have seen to date. Hey Will for training this weekend I want to be like our friend in Central Florida so I'm also, going to wear my Beverly Hills Bartender outfit, screw the warpaint the tux is wear it's at
What? Are you kidding me? That's the best bite work I've ever seen!! I mean, the way the dog is attacking the sleeve after it's slipped - man, if a killer sleeve ever busts into my house and tries to vacuum my carpet, my dog'll be all over it!
I hadn't actually watched the videos before posting, but those were pretty funny if I do say so myself lol. I figured maybe he might be ok to be a decoy, never in a million years would I trust him to train my dog - but the decoy idea just went right out the window too If anyone knows any decoys that'll do one on one work (well, one decoy working with 2 dogs at very opposite levels of experience) in the central florida area feel free to PM me.

I have seen some bad protection training, but this is surely the worst. If anyone did that to my dog I would definitely show them a new way of using a SchH sleeve, and they would have to go to hospital to remove it.
It's not just that they don't know what they're doing. They probably have never seen anybody doing the most basic bite work.
Pedro.
HAHAHA! That was horrible. I didn't see one dog take a full mouth bite. And what is the deal with the decoy shaking the sleeve up a down, does he call that fighting/driving the dog. When the decoy slipped the sleeve before the owner was holding the leash I just started laughing. If a decoy did that with my male GSD he would have been eaten alive.
Will I'm sure Fetz would love for a decoy to do that
