I told Jeff that cats were bad...No you didn't...Did too <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> More reason to classify them as pests along with rats and mice <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
When I first got my puppy I was worried about her accidentally getting my cat. Accidentally, as in, doesnt know her own strengh.
She chased my little 1/2 siamese, 1/2 god knows what, around efor the first few months and I thought Id never get through to her. Plus, everytime Id hear them running around, they would be 5 ft apart and still by the time I got to them. Too late to correct her.
And then one night I heard them in the living room. I got up and ran out there to catch her in the act. And what did I see? My little 11 pound cat chasing my 25 pound puppy aroud the room until the dog laid down and put her paws over her head to keep from getting clawed.
I dont worry about the cat anymore.. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
My male tabby sleeps on the bed with any shepherd thats available. They all love him and he loves them. Its called perfect harmony. Nothing wrong with that. I have 3 others, and there is never a problem in my house.
Mine can push open doors and move upright vacuum cleaners. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> When she's happy and playful, she bounces backwards and the more she hits her head on things the more bouncy and playful she gets. Kind of strange how the more ya bonk your head, the better things seem to get...
Yes for sure. A older lady,co worker of mine, has 4 cats. Last year she got cat scratch fever from one of them and now she has cellulitis from her cat licking her face while she was asleep <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Last year her favorite cat got caught out in a storm here and got frozen stiff like statue <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Yikes, cat scratch fever is serious business! I got scratched up by my cat REALLY REALLY badly once (very long story) I had to go to the hospital because I thought I needed stitches where she bit me.
(really, shes a great cat. only tried to kill me that once.. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
The ER doctor insisted on augmentin, which is insanely expensive and strong. I thought he was nuts! And then I went home and read through some books and let me tell you, I took what he gave me. It can do something similar to what brown recluse can do. I saw nigthmarish pics of a man who had lost his ear after it had gone all necrotic..
