Here I go again. I get to come off sounding like an idiot because a non member wants to ask a question, but here goes. My neighbor has a lab mix. The dog got pregnant and had a litter of puppies. The pups are now 4 weeks old. The female is still bleeding (possibly another heat cycle?). Is that normal at all? I have no clue. I have never owned a female dog nor do I plan to. I only own the studs and for good reason. I tried doing a search on the forum for "female bleeding" and "bleeding after whelping" but couldnt find anything. Any other search's I could try? My neighbor is freaking out!
Thanks Anne for your quick response. I was hoping that was the case and that it was semi-normal. I dont think this lady takes the dog to the vet much, but I may take her myself if she doesn't feel better by Monday. Yet another reason I have MALE dogs. lol
