We work for Montgomery County Sheriffs Office in Tennessee. Fiona is a little over 3 years old and a Border Collie.

The comments from the bad guys can be priceless also! There have been several times working a non police looking dog has come in handy.

I have been offered money for my border collie by several people wanting to train him for narcotics or explosives. He is one of the most sound border collies I have met (and I have met many). Even working line gsd folk are surprised at how stable he is....also ball CRAZY! If he is not working sheep...he is throwing a stick, piece of grass or ANYTHING he can find at you to throw back to him. I somtimes wonder if he is so sound because he grew up with 5 german shepherds and was never treated any different. One thing to consider with border collies. Even ones that are a bit environmentally sensitive can often overcome this when they are doing what they love. Thier drive to work WILL often overcome any sensitivies. Shelley
