Hello all. I've been lurking for a couple weeks, just got my log in, so I wanted to introduce myself and my pups. I've got a Collie, Taffy, and an ACD, Aussie (my agility dog to be), and, after 10 yrs of waiting, I finally got my GSD pup a week and a half ago--Osiris von der Dornburg (Siris). He'll be 9 wks on Friday. I plan on doing Schutzhund with him. He's already got a nice full bite on my leg *lol* (I'd prefer it he'd just grab the jeans, but no--he's got to prove he can get his little jaws all the way around my leg).
I've gotten three of the DVDs--8 wks to 8 mths, Working Pup, and Drive, Grip, and Focus (and questions. Lots of questions). The Basic Obedience tape is in the works for within the next couple weeks--anyone have any other suggestions? I'm thinking of the tracking DVD and the Bitework for Puppies...ideas?
Those pics make me long for the day my lady becomes a mom. I must study more on this subject. Breeding is not the reason I bought her... but she has to have at least one litter... and I am giving all the pups away as gifts to my family. She comes from a great show line. Dad was v12. More then anything I want to share the true GSD with America... not these half breed hounds that AKC pass off these days.
