This boy got killed by three bitbulls in Switzerland.
I get so mad,the boy is dead, the dogs are dead.
Bad pitbull owners really destroy alot fot those who own their dogs responsibly.
14 year olds do not "own" property. They hold it subject to the supervision of parents. If you had a 14 year old child who took your car and ran down a child in an intersection, you are criminally negligent in failing to properly supervise the child. That is also the case here.
My posts reflect my own opinions, and not those of the Marine Corps or the United States.
This post might seem cold, uncaring or even question my priorities. Let me assure you I am the first person to get upset and angry when something like this happens to a child or anyone for that matter. My heart goes out to his family. But, I wish that Ed had never allowed discussions on this subject. I don't think we need to provide PETA or some other animal group with additional written documentation supporting their agenda. We all know how dangerous dogs can be at times. It's not a breed specific thing but groups like PETA, the media, etc; will continue to seek out stories like this post on discussion boards until the pitbull and other breeds are wiped from the face of the earth.Just my two cents!
The reason these kinds of threads will be left is to point out the fact that things like this happen because the owners were irresponsible and the dogs were not properly cared for. This is not a Pit Bull problem it's an owner problem.
I have two pits and am an amature body builder, I weigh 130 lbs and can bench 225, I cannot control both my dogs when they get excited....one weighs 46 lbs, the other 34 lbs. The idiot who let a 14 year old boy have 3 leashes with pit bulls at the end of them should be brought up on charges even if the dogs did not do any harm IMO, they would have if he had walked out of the house with three loaded hand guns................

I totally agree Ed. But as you well know the people and organizations I mentioned always twist the facts and always put the blame on the breed. The city of Olathe, Kansas just updated their dog ordinance ruling out a total ban on pitbulls, but do enforce an aggressive dog rule. Most cities in my area have a total ban on pitbulls, mine included. If my house was located two blocks west I could own one. Stupid sheeeet!
