To tell you the truth, good kibble like Wellness is probably better than overfeeding, or too much organ meat too fast, etc. I think that was what Michael W was thinking, and I see that, looking back.
And you are right that it's a good brand.
This: "i would give him about 3 thies with the skin and fat removed, i was also adding in a bit of the gizzards, and i also gave him some leggs all with skin removed, morning he would get the thies, lunch he would get the legg quarters, and dinner i would give him more chicken with a spoon of beggie glop." doesn't tell us the weight of the food. The chicken came in a package with the weight on it, so you know the weight, but we don't.
But if three thighs came to a pound and then you added leg quarters (aren't they close to a pound for one?), and then you added more chicken plus the glop, it seems like you were overfeeding, although I don't have a good handle on it by your paragraph. (One leg quarter, or leg quarters, plural? How much chicken at supper? and so on.)
The dog weighs 24 pounds or so? For a pup, that translates to about 20 ounces, 25 ounces, in that range, PER DAY, split into three meals, increased to a max of 38 ounces or so if his weight didn't stay up.
So I have a guess that you overfed raw, but fed kibble per the instructions.
I'd still get the fecal done.

yeah i was feeding him about one plastic beer cup about 8-12 ounces 3 to 4 times a day.. and his poo was fine, then i started the raw, and i think i did over feed, i fed him like a pound of meet per meal at 3 meals a day then a bedtime snack, like a pigs foot or a chicken wing.
once his poo is good for about 2 weeks im going to ween him back onto the raw diet, slowley adding the raw chicken to his meal untill its all raw, then ill feed him the chicken for about a week or 2 to watch his poo, and if all is well ill add something else,
what i need is a good book with detailed menues for puppies and exact weight ratios, ill have to order something online when i get paid tomorrow,
i just got home from work and took him out and his poo is still soft but alot of form to it, it came out regular then towards the end it was runny. so i think his belly is slowley getting back to normal

http://leerburg.com/feedpups.htm
Did you check out that page when I linked you to it?
Scroll down to the $9 book.
But that one page also gives you breakfast, lunch, and supper for a 20-pound pup. You could follow it almost exactly without doing anything now but adding 4 to 5 ounces of food.
And this statement:
QUOTE: When feeding a raw diet, growing pups need 5-10% of their body weight in food daily, as opposed to adult dogs that should consume 2-3% of their body weight daily. This depends on activity and how the dog looks. You should be able to see a hint of ribs. Do not let your puppy get too fat!! END
Just start without the variety for this dog's stressed (overfed) gut, working up to that page as your model.

yeah as soon as his poo gets better, im going to wait 2 weeks after that, and slowley ween him back onto the raw chicken thighs, ill add like one thigh once a day for a week then the next week add one in the morning and one at dinner then the following week add one at all 3 meals, and if his belly is good, ill decrease the amount of kibble untill he is totally off the kibble.
and yeah i plan on purchasing that book online tomorrow when i get paid, thank you

Michael
I'm glad you are committed to feeding your dog raw!
It's not hard if you keep it simple and take it slow.
Make sure you are not mixing raw with the kibble, they don't digest at the same rate. You can just give him the raw in the morning for one meal and then the kibble at the other two feedings.
Personally, when I transition a dog or older pup from kibble to raw I fast them for a day and then go straight to raw (feeding them one meal a day with only one protein) and they MAY have a couple of soft-at-the-end poos, but no other problems.
But then I am perfectly happy eating ONE thing for a meal, I don't cook 7 coarse meals, it would take way too long.

OK, don't change anything for a week! Let his gut normalize.
