Hmmm, Tracy....what, no pics of you torturing your poor dogs with this horrible device???
Closest I could come would be the "torture" of them dancing with excited anticipation every time I get the leashes and collars out. They can't get them on fast enough.

Thanks for the laughs! Please OP, come back and share your wisdom with us! I really, really, really want to see the videos! Is the body language a happy dance? Or wagging a forefinger in admonishment? I tried praise only, but I couldn't run Jethro down to praise him when he was bolting across the field to 'meet' a little white dog.
NO PRAISE!
ANd no treats!
"Body language" only!!!
Ahhhh what CAN I do??? Lol capone would be un interested in .2 seconds. I think she's trying to be Cesar Milan, only I guaruntee with his own dogs who do schutzhund, he used both toys and treats for motivation. Daddy I belive was a sch. Dog.

Yes...although Cesar didn't often mention it, Daddy indeed was a fully trained PPD and a magnificent example of the breed -RIP

Daddy was PP trained. I don't think he was ever SchH trained.
But what a dog. I have a picture of him over my desk .... the only picture there.

Ahh I knew it was something like that and yah he never mentions it. I wonder why? Daddy was pretty bamazing. I was genuinly really sad when he passed. I loved his presence around other dogs. He was such a great ambassador for the breed.

I think because PP training is in CM's past, pretty much.
Daddy's owner (the rapper Redman) "boarded" Daddy with CM from four months on.* Daddy was PP trained by CM along with, as I recall, several Rotties. Years ago, CM trained PP dogs who were also balanced house dogs, when he lived and worked where PPDs were very common and in demand, in his section of South L.A..
I believe he has mentioned that PP training is in his past. Junior, for example, has had no PP training, and CM says that he will have none.
* Redman, I believe, granted full ownership of Daddy to CM's family when he decided that he was not going to live in L.A. any more.

Interesting! I do remember that daddy came from redman, I wasn't sure how exactly it worked out though. I have to admit I love junior too. Reminds me and my husband of capone. We like to look at his pictures as he travels with cm.

Same here. I tell JD "gotta change collars" and he goes nuts. He knows it means were going out somewhere to do something. usually for a ride in the car to visit his friends (one of which includes the receptionist at the vet's office).
Maybe we should show the OP the "happy dance" our dogs do when these collars come out!

I know soon after I picked up my foster dog, she learned that prong meant fun stuff. I could not even accidentally nudge anything metal ( to make a metallic sound) without her waking up, running over, sitting perfect, and presenting her neck. Unfortunately I wasn't always holding the prong, car keys, silverware, office supplies, and miscellaneous metal prompted the same response.

None of that silly positive reward stuff here. Just makes dogs wimpy.
