Not really, but I think that was because of the IV fluids. The effects of those was quick. I went from slurred speech and a foggy head to the best I've ever been in a matter of a 1/2 hour. BP came right back up to normal and my heart rate slowed to normal. I woke up bright the next morning and went to work. Just take it easy. I'm sure you might still be a little dehydrated.

Heat can be very dangerous & often symptoms of heat exhausion can come on very suddenly & become serious & life threatening very quickly. Hydrating even with electolites is not always enough to ward it off for us & for our pets. This summer has been a record breaking hot one for many of us. With the power companies cutting back it has caused many of us to have our A/Cs running constantly & still not able to cool down our homes enough to keep them always in an acceptable temprature range. I know on these extreme days my house doesn't get down much below 80+ degrees most days. There have been a couple of days at almost 84. I run fans in all the main rooms to try to circulate the cooler air around. Electric bills have been out of sight. I sure hope fall comes soon. My dogs are out to run & play ball & a little OB & then back into the house. They are used to being outside most of the day & are miserable...so am I. MY DOGS...MY RULES
