Hang in there Betty... You both must be getting very, very tired. Wish we could all be of more help than providing names and demanding your attention...

She stopped at 8, thank the Lord! I will get pics in a bit. Pups are a little bit smaller then I would like but then I've had some pretty big pups so I might just be use to the oversized ones.
Bacall is a wonderful first time mom, she was a little bit rough with the first pup but got the hang of it quickly. The second pup she cut the cord a little bit too far down and I walked in to a small geyser of blood which scared the you know what out of me. At first I thought it was my mom. I put some pressure on it and it stopped right away.
I whelp and raise pups in the house and a lot of this litter money is going right back to the whelping room. I am going to make the window a door and make some kind of a covered kennel right off the door and maybe enclose that with more fencing. We are covering it both for weather reasons and because I have a couple of hawks that are really interested in young pups.
The door won't be far from my puppy pens for when they get a little bit older, and make moving them out for the day a lot easier. It will save me a lot of time in housebreaking the little darlings and also give me a contained area to walk mom during labor. I'm slowly segregating my puppy area from the rest of my dogs and this fits right into that also. I'm leaning towards a portable 10 x 10 kennel that I can move from area to area.
I'm trying to talk my husband into a viewing window from our bedroom to the whelping room but so far he's not having much to do with that idea!
And then there is always more fencing........ I love having multiple layers of fencing between my dogs and the rest of the world.
When I dropped Bacall off for her play date with the male I was happy to see that we are kinda on the same track of his finished product. The owner of the male is a Canine Officer with a boarding kennel and I really liked his set up security wise.
Lots of clean up today and spending some time with a couple of other dogs that has been sadly neglected the last day or two! Poor Danni is bouncing off walls, she crates well but really needs to burn off some steam.
Congrats to you Betty and to Bacall for giving you 8 healthy pups!!
I am so excited and happy for you! Everyone must be exhausted.
Looking forward to seeing pictures!
