I only leave the T shirt on for soaking, and because it seems to be a barrier from her tongue. I snapped a photo of her belly last night, it really is SO much better than just a week ago. Can share if you'd like to see it.
I never thought I'd say this, but yesterday I found it almost impossible to tell people what happened to her. I had just told the story so many times to friends and strangers... everyone who walked in the door seemed to say "what happened to him?" And by midday I just got tired of saying the words.

It's been a bumpy road to say the least. I took her out of her T shirt Monday and that was a mistake. She has scratched her belly up pretty bad with her hind leg. Drainage still moderate to high. I took a photo a couple of nights ago, I don't have access to it on this computer. That photo was before tearing some skin up, though. I will get it uploaded when I get home this evening.

Also, vet wanted me to take a few sutures out a night. That worked so-so with the drain, but I'm not going to be able to go any farther. She's way too uncomfortable with any tool in my hand getting near her. She also has a swollen red eye, and I'm having a heck of a time even getting her eye drops in.

Aw, I wish we could take that gift! Yes, I got her back in a T shirt today. Don't know if it's related to the spay, but she has also been extremely affectionate lately.
