If anyone ever thought that Schutzhund USA was not a totally corrupt organization they only need to have followed what has happened this past year with this issue.
Mr Hanrahan was out of the tracking fields at the world championships that USA sponsored IN oHIO SOME MONTHS AGO.
In addition his wife Pam Hanrahan was put on the board of inquiry for schutzhund usa.
The people involved with all this in Schutzhund USA should hang their heads in shame. The President of USA should be tarred and feathered- he is nothing more than a puppet crook. That's you Lyle. You are an embarrassment to the sport of schutzhund and this will be how you are remembered when your gone. A weak weak puppet.
Those people involved with the sport of Schutzhund should leave the organization and go over to DVG (the all breed schutzhund Org) I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF ONE SCANDAL LIKE THIS WITH THE dvg.
USA’s only factual finding here is that Hanrahan’s conduct with regard to driving over the tracks at a USA-sanctioned trial was not in the best interests of USA.///...
Further, the Executive Board finds that much if not all the conduct of Eric Eisenberg and Gary Hanrahan on December 15, 2007 was in furtherance of their continuing interpersonal conflict. Neither party to this dispute has distinguished themselves as exhibiting the behavior, cooperation, and good will expected of all USA members. The Executive Board advises both Gary Hanrahan and Eric Eisenberg that any future conduct, communication, actions, or disputes by either party in furtherance of their continuing interpersonal conflict that impacts any USA event at any time in the future will lead to more severe disciplinary action against one or both parties, including expulsion from USA. While any future disciplinary action will be based upon the particular facts and circumstances of each case, it is the sense of the current Executive Board that any suspension for either or both parties will be for a minimum of six (6) months. All are advised to conduct themselves accordingly.

I suddenly have a strange taste in my mouth that seems to have spawned some very rude sarcastic thoughts in regard to most of the BOI. Being the gentile polite thing that I am I will not print them, I will just let your imagination fill in the blanks.
I am also reminded of the extremely arrogant, snotty, spoiled little boy look on the face of the person who drove his little minivan over the tracks at the trial, as well as the marvelous restraint the spectators showed in the face of such immature behavior.

USA did actually do more then I thought they would, especially after all this time.
Personally I don't care about the history between the two and I don't know why they waited for the criminal case to be resolved.
My world is a simple little world and for me the only question was did he or did he not intentionally run over tracks and disrupt a trial?
It also leaves a bad taste in my mouth that they chastised the person that brought charges as much as the person that charges were brought against. USA officials have made it a point several times that they can't do anything unless charges are filed by a member.

Yeah it seems USA wanted to shoot the messenger....what a crock...shouldn't matter whether or not there was bad blood between them or not this was about what Hanrahan did...if he has a problem with Eric he's free to file his own BOI...

Betty, you hit it exactly on the single most important point of the matter!
This matter was poorly handled by the leadership of SchH USA and speaks volumes about the outright favoritism and the "good old boy" attitude shown by that organization.
Shame on them!
I don't know Gary but I did watch the video when I googled his name and I would describe it as petty. He certainly wasn't right but there's 3 sides to every story. What each party says and then what actually happened. Mike Suttle out of WV described Gary as one of the top Schutzhund trainers in the world but after I googled his info and saw the vids I changed my mind about dealing with him. The closest club in my area is 3 1/2 hours away so its been pretty tough for me starting out.
