We might be getting off where i was trying to go with this, so lets take back what your saying about me not being proud and not caring about whats right in the world, My real problem is with people WHO WILL NOT STOP with the iv done this iv done that mentality. Before i get branded as a Jerone supporter i would like to say if this guy is lieing or not, he will be found out and the final justice will come in the form of people making fun of him and having his name tarnished. Sorry if i seem like im the devils advocated but i was pointing out the fact that you two insist on reminding this board you are vets.

Ok, michael, I'll bite.
I think that I have seven posts in this thread. In only one did I point out that an Award and Decoration that I have is different from the thread subject and that if I left a war zone that I would have been embarrassed to only have an admin award......so in your mind that's " people WHO WILL NOT STOP with the iv done this iv done that mentality." ?
And if you'd like to take this via PM as it's off the main topic I'd be fine with that.

Why? Its not like you can stop it.
Ah, that's where you're wrong my friend.
You can stop it.
People who are found lying about their military awards can be prosecuted under the 2005 Stolen Valor Act. Mr. Jerone, if convicted, could face over a year imprisonment and some hefty fines.
Thousands of phony vets like Mr. Jerone have already been prosecuted under Stolen Valor.

I hate it when two people cant let something go, who CARES we know Mr Rambeau and Miss myracle are two hard corps war vets BECAUSE THATS ALL YOU TWO EVER TALK ABOUT, allow me to put this little line up from a post in this thread
"People who've really been there, and been "in the sh*t", don't go around advertising it. Braggarts, loudmouths and self-professed heroes are usually nothing more than liars, con artists and wannabes.
The real deal doesn't have anything to prove to anyone. He knows where he's been and what he's done- and frankly, he'd just as soon leave it firmly in the past."
All im saying is for someone to post something like that and then contiually say the things you say in your post, dont you think thats going against dear old dad?
Really? Show me a SINGLE post where I even mention my time in combat on this thread.
Just ONE.

Now what bothers me about your dads advice on not advertising is this YOU are in fact guilty of this, i remember reading a post where a young man was asking about what to do with his life and you suggested the army because of all the experiences you had in "COMBAT" about being blown up and some other things i cant put my finger on at the moment, so do you see where i have a problem with this, in a less extreme way you are "ADVERTISING" and that really gets to me.

This is beyond stupid.
This is the Dog Training School forum, Anthony Jerone is the topic here, and his trustworthiness (or lack thereof) is where the thread has traveled.
Even if I agreed with you, I'd tell you to take it to PMs or start a non-dog chat thread. But I would definitely ask that the hijack stop.
Back to the topic ....

In otherwords, you can't come up with a single post on this thread where I talk about my own combat service.

No, I suggested that the military was a good option- and I fully stand by that suggestion for any young adult who doesn't know what they should do with their life.
When another gentleman pointed out that right now was a bad time to join the military because of the war, I pointed out that war isn't all bad, and in fact, I came out of it a better person.
I didn't rush in talking about being a war hero, or the war at all.
Someone else brought up that the war should deter people from joining the military, and I posted my opposing viewpoint, with personal experience to back it up.

My first post on that thread:
Join the Army.
Let them put you through college. You'll learn a heck of a lot about yourself. Join the Active Duty Army and become an MP. After three years if you do well, you can go to Lackland and become a Dog Handler.
Finish your enlistment, and go forth with your life knowing that 1) You have served your Nation, and accomplished feats that most people only dream of.
2) You now have educational and other VA benefits to assist you in starting a new career.
3) Your resume looks pretty darned good.
4) You can fire, with accuracy, most small arms, defend yourself, make good food out of MREs and laugh no matter how bad life gets.
5) You'll have a really good idea of what you want to do with your life after some time spent serving in the military.
I don't have any vested interest in telling you to enlist- unless I talk you into the Guard, I don't get a damned thing, and I don't think the Guard is your best option (if you want to be a dog handler).
I just know exactly where you are in life. It's the exact same spot I was prior to enlisting. I have never regretted my decision to join the Army.
Note the astonishing LACK of mention of combat.
Read the thread. I don't bring it up until after it gets discussed as a result of an anti-war gentleman's post.

Note the astonishing mention of "COMBAT"
"I've been tired, I've been hurt, I've been sick.
I've been spit on. I've been harassed. I've been called a baby killer (yes, in this day and age).
I've been thanked. I've been hugged by complete strangers in grocery stores. I have loved complete strangers more than my own family, because they became my family when the chips were down. I've been snowed on, rained on, shot at, blown up, sat through sandstorms that would choke a camel.
The one thing I've never done, is regret it for a second"
Thats from you by the way.
