Apparently she's been feeding him about 4 - 6 per day since I started the raw food diet because she felt he wasn't getting enough to eat because I cut his portion in half.
Peter, you may never know what caused it. After reflection, I really thought it was the grain, but who knows.
And the fasting is great. I still fast mine if she gets a little of what I call "colicky".
I have read that dogs in nature would not necessarily eat the same proportions every day. In nature it would most likely be a lot to eat on one day, then very little for a few. I think I read somewhere that dogs' digestive tracts are designed for that.
Here's the video. I had to post this on one of our servers as it was too lengthy for youtube. It also has the text "Evaluation Copy" along the video - please ignore this for now I will have it removed once we decide on the software we will use to do the conversions. Also please keep in mind that the server we put this on is not a streaming media server so it will attempt to download to your PCs internet cache - it could take a little while. We need to reconfig our server for streaming media.
Kaiser is doing great!! Small firm stools eating his normal amount now. Will be adding a very small amount of organ meat ( what I found in 1 back today) and adding vit e and salmon oil.
Sorry about the video. I'll have to make some changes on the server to allow fir better streaming will let you know when that is done.
