Sorry guys, with all the other dogs things have been pretty hectic! I thought I had updated here but I have been remiss.
Spent a lot of today working with the other dogs, quick 5 minutes here and there but they all did good.
Final count was 5 girls and 3 boys. Sadly we lost one of the boys today and I'm at a complete loss. He appeared healthy, robust even. We have a little girl that has been weak from the start and surprisingly she is holding her own so far. I thought we were going to lose her earlier but she has rebounded.
Bacall is a wonderful mom, I couldn't be more pleased with her. And the rest of the gang seems to be doing well!
So keep the little girl in your thoughts tonight. If she does leave us she will leave surrounded by her two legged and her four legged moms.
Oh Betty, I am so sorry on the loss of the little male. Although not apparent on the outside, he must have had an issue on the inside which you could do nothing about. We will all definitely keep the little gal in our thoughts. More than likely, she will grow to be the most feisty.

Believe it or not he is the first pup I have lost if you discount the first 12 hours. I know it's probably for the best but I'm really at a loss. I had checked the pups about an hour before and all were active, warm.
The wee little girl is doing well right now, I just checked on her and she was eating happily, I think if she makes it through tonight her chances will increase dramatically.
