You must have a large piece of land, for 5 dogs!
Carol just roams around in the wilderness with her husband and 5 dogs (didn't I read 6 somewhere??).
HAHAHAHA...hubby sits in the lawn chair waiting for me.
I do have 6, Koda is a contract dog. I should put some pics of her on here. Nice little
out of control working GSD
I have 80 acres and am in the country.
I do roam the wilderness a lot training though.
Thanks for the compliments Debbie, my dogs are my "kids"

Oh My Gosh!!!
80 Acres ... yeah, I can see how you would be roaming the wildnerness quite a bit!
We have a measly 4 acres!
How much does 80 acres sell for out there in SD?

Getting back to Evander - I am doing OK today.
The first few days were so hard, I was crying,
wandering the house... but I know Karla will find
him a good home.
My husband wants to visit him but I think that may
be too hard emotionally.

Hey Carol,
Since Debbie is hijacking her own thread
I'm going to jump in and ask about Koda.
When you say "contract dog" does that mean after she's raised and trained she goes elsewhere...or is she staying with you? Sorry for the stupid question...I've always wondered what it meant
I hope you do post pics of her.

It certainly merits its own "face". "Eek" and "shocked" don't do the pain we feel justice.

Oh, Sara and Jessica...if you know anyone looking for a great little puppy...LOL...since you live relatively close...
Seriously though, he is a very smart pup. My mother in law and niece are here and are amazed with him!
