I'm so sorry to hear the sad news. You gave her a 'soft spot to fall' even if it was only for a short time. You shared your heart with her. Tina is truly & eternally grateful for your small kindness.
I am so sad to hear this news. It just makes the tears flow both in sadness and also in the wonderful spirit that she came to you and all the love and kindness you gave to her, as brief as it was, it was a beautiful thing you did.
You gave her the love and comfort and the ultimate peace without suffering in the end.
Bless you Michael for your kindness.
I am so sorry for your loss.
Rest in peace Tina.
The vet said that through all of the moving around during x-rays and before the surgery that she never complained once. Tough little girl.
I think my first impression of her was right. I think she would have been an awesome little companion. Just goin' with the flow through every day.
Her attitude through the whole thing even left an impression on the vet and his staff.
I hate that I won't get to see that and share it with you guys. These dogs just get to ya' real quick, don't they?
Kelly, I had not thought about the Rainbow Bridge. The thought of that brings a smile to my face. One more face to look forward to.
I want everyone to know that the amount of money that y'all offered got up to $335. That is only what I knew about. There were 10 others that I didn't know the amount. I'd bet that you guys had this vet bill paid for. Y'all are awesome!
This forum is a collection of great people that I am proud to know.
As far as offers to help with the small vet bill there was, I appreciate them more than words can express. Still, I decline.
Rescue can be heartbreaking sometimes! Put mine towards the vet bill and you're a better person than many that would have looked the other way and just kept driving. Good try man.

Oh I tried to keep it short and simple but I came back to read again and it really got the tears a-flowin'. Michael, you and your wife are truly inspiring people. Who knows what this pup went through, but you gave her what she deserved - a forever home. Her forever home was short, but it was just that: forever. She will be eagerly awaiting you over the Rainbow Bridge. Just like Kelly says, let her legacy give you the strength to help other animals. You certainly know we've got your back, and part of your funding, the whole way through.
Bless you for having so much kindness and love in your heart.
P.S. If you don't want to use the donations, shredding will be just fine.
