"Given that so much is still up in the air, the vet is still proceeding with caution, but if things stay the same overnight, he should be able to come home tomorrow and at least hang with me while they carry on the rest of their tests. I want to keep my serious face till this whole ordeal is behind us, but I am so, so, SO excited at the prospect of bringing him home... if nothing else, he needs a bath!!"
Not to mention some more meatloaf!
I know that you must thank your lucky stars to be near Angell. I sure would. You know that you have him at a world-famous (for good reason) facility.

You have no idea (scratch that - you used to live close, didn't you? I know you're familiar enough with them to make that statement...). I can't speak highly enough of the care that we've received - I have yet to meet a staff member there that doesn't have an excellent bedside manner, and the expertise in knowledge and access to equipment is indeed world class. (note to self: among all the others, thank lucky stars tonight before bed...)

Between Tufts and Angell, your area is indeed blessed.
Like everyone else here, I have been thinking about this all day. Hoping that Oscar's temp will stay down and you can bring him home tomorrow.
Just like it is no fun for humans to be in hospitals, I bet Oscar wants to come home so badly! Glad to hear the meat loaves were a hit!
