Some information about age and the appearance of the permanent teeth.
Unfortunately, the size of the dog and it's life span affect this, it's not written in stone. Teeth erupt earliest in large breeds
Incisiors: the tiny teeth in front of the canine: 2-5 months. The corner incisor, right before the canine comes in at 4-5 months
Canine: 5-6 months
First premolar: interestingly, this one is never a baby tooth, is not shed, it just grows - comes in at 4-5 mos
2nd and 3rd premolar-6 months
4th premolar, the carnaissial tooth-biggest,sharpest 3 rooted tooth,pyramid shaped-pretty much always at 4-5 mos
So, maybe thats too much information-but maybe it could help you to age your pup.
We have normal LOGS at 2:25 CST! (trying to remain calm but I'm totally stoked! I won't get ahead of my self thinking I can stop talking about poo yet. Arg!
Metronzadole is a wonder drug in that respct! Just remember to give the the whole course of drugs prescribed by the vet!
FWIW, because of these issues he may have a sensitive digestive tract for quite a while. And dogs that have had giardia can be prone to getting it again. I would plan on using simple, basic treats for training for the next several months at least. Cooked white chicken for high value, and when he's back on kibble, just use part of his daily meals his training treats. My dogs work for kibble around home just fine.
the more "eek" stuff I found appears NOT to be them....
however now as I google more....I'm finding a few other things...discussion on a forum from May 2010 about how Malinois don't need OFA stuff done because hip problems aren't common in the breed?
they seem to breed a LOT
They do seem to breed a lot and the dogs listed on the website don't really seem breeding quality.
The puppies section said they have 4 males and 5 females still available from a litter born April 22. That makes me think they didnt have ANY deposits or interest in the pups before the breeding took place and probably just bred because the bitch was in heat. Also the Sire is only Sch1 and the female doesn't have any titles and I am not even sure she has been OFA'd (every other dog has hip conditions listed by them and she doesnt, making me think its not simply an omission).
Definitely get a recheck after you go through the meds. My boy came from the breeder with giardia as well (he didn't have any signs of it either just got found when I took him in with a stool sample) it took 2 or 3 rounds of meds to clear it up.
Nick & Heather...moving in the right direction finally. Don't let the stress get to you and prevent you from having your heads on straight. You are doing a better job of following advice here and look at the payout you are getting...a happy pup who is on the way to good health.

You may want to do a good pick up in the areas that he potties in. Probably not feasable for you but I do pressure clean grass areas with a bleach solution.
I would also wash all bedding with bleach and spray down crates etc with a bleach solution.
I would get a spray bottle with a bleach solution, then potty, pickup and spray the grass.
Thanks everyone lol Betty!!! I made a goof I think. I mowed the yard and the poo the other day. I hope I don't have it now gesh. I've felt a little funny but my wife made her good chili with lots of beans and onions so I'm probably ok. I don't have a pressure washer or I'd try that too.
I bought some pan when I got the probiotic but when I got home I rechecked the vet bill and it said he was wormed. "DAP-CPV" I saw him do it but I thought it was kennel cough meds. With Doctors I can be too trusting
So any advice on getting him to eat a cup of kibble and chicken?
We are feeding him:
1/4 cup kibble
1/8 cup rice
1/8 cup chicken
this all equals a 1/2 cup for each feeding (6 times a day = 3 cups of food per day).

Why would he need kennel cough vax?
Food:
I'd start increasing the kibble, bit by bit, without removing the rice and chicken yet. This will increase his calories and start balancing his calcium needs.
I'd make an increase and see the resulting poop before making a new increase.
But with the giardia diagnosed and being treated, I think it will go much more smoothly now.
