I have followed this thread from the beginning. Michael, there have been some really thoughtful and helpful posts from the people here, trying to give suggestions and help to you.
You have had quite a few comments that were very broad brush, sweeping, generalized statements that just are not true. Again, the LB members have tried to help you understand. ... Some of your comments continue to be very misinformed; not sure if that is purposeful ...
I'm sure now. I started out with the intent to welcome a person with a real desire to become better informed and more effective. But now we have read, posted on a board of responsible dog trainers:
.... I hate dogs ... Some of the best advice I have gotten was "get a gun"
... what's warped is people who have predatory pack animals for yard pets
... They are the sacred icons of shallow people.
Now this response post makes perfect sense:

According the the CDC:
Americans treated in emergency rooms for bicycle accidents per year: 500,000
Americans who die from bicycle accidents: 700
Americans treated in emergency rooms for dog bites: 386,000
Americans who die from dog bites: 16
I am hereby initiating an all-out campaign against the bicycle. They are deadly instruments of suffering and torture, many of which exhibit hateful blood lust towards unsuspecting people. People who own bicycles are not only shallow and reckless, they endanger all of us with their foolishness.
eta: is there a bicycle-enthusiast web board I could post this to? I'm thinking that would be a good place to start this new campaign.
You are obtuse, obnoxious, insulting & just a person that is not capable of having an even remotely reasonable conversation leading to reasonable solutions to your rant.
You came here with an agenda: to insult dog owners with your 'barbs'
You don't have to like dogs & dog owners don't have to like you, either. But one must have tolerence for the wants & needs of others. Something that you seem completely incapable of doing.
I think the best way for him to go away is if we do not respond to him. All that can be said has been said. So, let's just let it all fade away into the sunset.

I am a cyclist or at least used to be (just want to train dogs now)and have logged more miles training than I care to remember but never really liked cyclists with the road hog attitude.
As an FYI to the general posting public, Mr. Taylor ( and I doubt that is his real name ) has gone on a PM rant feast to various posters in an unstable fashion and is now banned from the forum.
