I would advocate corrections in some situations... If your dog does something wrong or slowly tonight, smack yourself in the head with a rolling pin for not making the directions clear or the training fun enough! LOL!
Relax Jeremy and have fun with your dog. It will all come together, but it is a process, not an event. You both will do fine. (They are far more forgiving of our "learning curve" than we are of ourselves.)
Rolling pin and 2x4 is in the goody bag...lol....this hear wave is killing us.....only eatly morning or right before dark....its damn hot
There ya' go! All dressed up and ready to go. Keep in mind you can do lots of training inside in the AC... Rainy days find us doing lots of "sook!" games (hide and seek) and any mind-games I can think of (shell game). Mental stimulation will wear them out as well and keep you both in the cool.

Mrs Jones has banned "find it" games in the house, Roxie and Erika tore up the couch and scratched the crap out of the dresser and we got a tear in the carpet
