Barbara, they howl all the time! It IS cute. But they are getting quite loud. I have to admit, I thought they were cuter when Capri was taking care of them. Now that they are my responsibility........................................
Tonight something funny happened. I was trying to get their food ready and let my other dogs out at the same time. I had Simon (my Pit who just turned 2 last week) outside w/me and when I got their dish out of their kennel, a few escaped. I said to hell w/it and just left the door open. I had only turned my back for a few seconds and called Simon and he didn't come. I turned around, and he is standing there with this horrified look on his face, as still as a statue, while they're trying to nurse from him! Poor little Sim. I thought he'd steer clear of them, but I guess he got bombarded quickly and was afraid to move. He is very conscious of acceptable behavior near tiny dogs (it took a while....lol). What an angel. They have needle teeth and talon nails.
Anyway, took couple pics (including one of him w/the pups) and will try to get them up tomorrow.
Ray, yes, I am very happy w/where they are going. I should get some valuable feedback for future breeding decisions.
Jenni, I'm not sure when you changed your sig pic but I've been out of town and it's been a few days since I've had a chance to hop on LB. Anyway, I love your new sig pic of Capri! And the pups look great!
I just saw the pictures of the pups. They are so intense and beautiful! I can imagine as they get older trying to round them up will be similar to rounding up cats...good luck!
Capri is beautiful and she did great. (you did good yourself. Be proud!)
