Hello,
I never said you should put her to sleep or get rid of her. However, any reputable breeder/seller would refund some of your purchase price, for all those problems, as long as you spay the female.
Also, when you come on a board, such as this, with all these trainers here, complaining, someone is going to comment. It will never be all positive. So, has she been to the vet today?
Yes, I do know chris fraize. He is a likable chap, in person. I first met him at a couple of PP trials. He is actually a nice guy, and quite hilarious. In fact, that is why I read this, because of the other one about him.
Good luck, with your pet.

Merry Christmas!!! I ask for some health advice and I get this crap. Come on. The vet is closed today as they are observing the national Christmas holiday or my dog would be there believe me.
How naive I was to think that someone might have experienced the same thing and could share some useful advice.
I am not at all convinced this is a urinary thing as the information I found with symptoms listing green urine where related to Hypocalcemia - Low blood calcium, which might be far more serious then a urinary infection.
I would have her spayed in a minute if that is all it would take to ensure her health. Jeff… your signature couldn’t be more true… but I admire your honesty!

Jeff - are you bi-polar.
Knock it off and treat people repsectfully or go play in someone elses sand box.
Last warning.

Jeff, I am sending this to the mods as this was totally uncalled for.
Munchausen by Proxy Syndrome (MBPS) is a deadly disorder of which awareness must be increased. It is characterized by a parent, usually the mother, who intentionally causes illness in her child. The disorder was named after Baron von Munchausen. There are different intensities and manifestations of this disorder. Symptoms of the syndrome are hard to identify but are most prevalent when the child only becomes sick in the presence of his or her mother. The mother maintains a dynamic relationship with the physician, as the whole disorder is centered upon her need for attention from the doctor. It is most widely agreed that MBPS is caused by a need for attention and compassion to placate self-doubt in the sufferer. The only plausible treatment known for this disorder is extensive psychotherapy. If more research is conducted on this syndrome, it will help to protect the youth against abuse that is a by product of a psychologically sick mother.

Her rectal temp 101, which I have heard is normal and she is not showing any obvious signs of illness. The emergency hospital told me to bring her in if her condition changed and it hasn’t.

OK, good temp...........and she is showing no tremors, twitches, or nervousness?
From what I have read today (and this is a new subject to me, so this is pretty superficial), there are several possible causes of low blood calcium. (As you found, I too see that low blood calcium is a likely culprit behind greenish urine.)
The diagnosis will involve blood and urine tests, which will tell whether the blood calcium is low and also help narrow down the cause.
I followed up on the three common causes for a dog's low calcium level, and each of the three had treatment options. Because you saw the greenish urine, you may have caught a potentially deadly (if undiagnosed) disorder at a very early stage.
I'll be hoping for the best with you tomorrow and waiting to hear what the vet says.
(I'll PM you with whatever else I find that seems helpful.)
