See, I'm out in the country, and I like looking at it, so a solid fence isn't as desirable as something low ot see thru. I'm intrigued with a lower fence and some element that keeps them from approaching.
It's annoyingly expensive though, figure $2000 per 100ft, but you can see thru it and it's nice looking, and since it's aluminum, it'll never rust. My GSD won't jump it, but my dutchie pup probably will when she's older, that's something I'll deal with when the time comes I guess. Perhaps chinese holly bushes like suggested in a previous post of mine.
Makes the cost of a puppy + shipping seem cheap
That's a great looking fence. Funny, I just recalled I have a business acquaintance in China who has a factory making wrought iron. I hate the maintenance idea, but maybe a super price would make it more tolerable.
That’s the look, though, in my opinion. Assuming you don’t want / need to block out neighbors. I don’t need visual privacy, just containment.
I have had some discussions with a supplier. I'd hold on that fence purchase. I'll e-mail you with details. I think there's a lot of savings to be had.
Thanks Ted - but too late now, the fence is up Well, kinda, 1/3 of it is up. They are finishing it this morning/afternoon. It looks nice though, if you'd like pics let me know, I'll email you them when they're done.
