Oh, this is the first opportunity I've had to actually watch and listen to this video. I'm sitting here with tears pouring down my face. My Dad was a veteran of WW2, in the Pacific theater, he was a Marine then, two purple hearts and was decorated by President Roosevelt himself. He had scars all over, and shrapnel that surfaced every now and again. He joined when he was 16, lied about his age. I remember him talking about the K9 Corps, too. When he married my Mom, he was in the Air Force, (I'm a service brat) and was a career man. This video brings back SUCH memories. I make sure to get my Poppy every single year.
Thank you Thank you, Ed.

Ed,
Great video. I am a former(thanks to an RPG) navy special operations member. It nice to see support for those of us who have and who currently serve. We sacrifice many things in combat that most will luckly never know about. Please keep up the good work and thank you for your support.

Carlos - I have nothing but respect for you. My son (Jeff) is teaching West Point Cadets how to build check points and deal with suicide bombers this summer. He will be redeployed after this assignment.

Ed, videos like this are great reminders to all that those who are willing to go and fight need to be respected and remembered. Many of us have constant reminders. I have a brother on his third deployment, a son-in-law on his first deployment in Iraq after having been in Afganistan, and a son at West Point (Class of 2008). I come from a long family history of military service and am constantly amazed at people who do not support our troops. At the same time, it warms my heart to hear those that do.
Thank you,
Judy

My brother is in Iraq right now. He is SGT 593 CSG, which I have no idea what it means, lol, but he is a very good guy and emailed me just last week to tell me that his helmet had gotten shot off of his head, but that he did kill the guy, or something along those lines. I do not like it when people do not support our troops, it's because of them that we are sleeping in peace tonight somewhere in America.........Sorry to ramble, lol!

This topic is so sobering. The men and women serving in the military are making the ultimate commitment - willingness to give their lives for our freedoms. It makes me feel pathetic when I think of my own weaknesses related to committments.
Many thanks to Jeff, his good friend, and all of the brave men and women who are serving with their skills, their minds, their hearts, and their lives.

Thank you Ed for that video. I got out of the Navy about 2 years ago, but still have friends over in the Middle-East & in Somalia. I just hope this war ends soon & that no more of my friends die.
