Or a PM is fine, too. There's new glucosamine stuff all the time. I think I read it's the 5th (or 7th?) most-purchased supplement in this country. The pendulum is swinging all the time. I have to say that my own personal (human) experience with g. sulfate, and the results I've seen in senior dogs I've had, has been extremely positive. Still, who knows whether it has to be in a certain form (like the thing about large-molecule chondroitin being just not "built" to cross into joint fluid)....... Evidently some forms of glucosamine supplements are not the kind that's manufactured naturally in the joint. Anyway, I'm very interested and very appreciative of any sources you can give me for new trials.

I am very interested as the glucosamine and chondroitin are being 'pushed/marketed' by several 'big name' dog food companies as well... BTW, I've already emailed him, as well as posted on the board where I read it initially... Yes, now that chondroitin as a cartilage-wear aid has *long* been debunked, they are noticing it! LOL! The amounts in commercial foods (that I have seen) of glucosamine are just about enough to be able to put the word on the label.
