John, have you actually seen a really good dog messed up by starting with runaways?
Most folks don't do them extensively and get the dog in hunt mode pretty quickly then start blind (to the dog) problems. My preference is to start with some tracking just because (1) it can't do harm and (2)the question is open but...........

**I agree with you here 100%. I prefer to imprint a WAS dog with tracking (The Box), then move to the Air-Scent line-up like I described in my first post.
