Please dont laugh at me, but I have a question about the cartoon Ceasar's technique!
I have seen maybe 4 episodes of "DOG WHISPERER" and dont recall anyone "zapping" a dog on the neck with your hand. I heard the explanation cartoon Ceasar gave, something along the lines of "pack leaders nip their subordinates on the neck to show their dominance" but I assume this is/was some sort of animated artistic license?

But I AM laughing! Every time I think about the episode, I laugh!
Anyway...........they combined two things CM does. He makes a sound like "Tsst" as a "No!" sound. And he also does a two-finger jab sometimes to the neck of a dog, in correction (as well as a full-on "bite" with his fingers, like a mother dog). So, no, no "neck-zapping," but it did look like that.......and now I'm laughing again. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
It WAS funny when Cartman's mom took the leash for the first time ever, and just casually went "Tsst," like a pro.

Oh, I just got done watching it. You're absolutely right. *nods* I'm turning into such a fan girl of his. I use a lot of theories of dog training on the kids I watch at the church I have a small part time job for, and it works great. I am "cool" with the kids, but they also know I am the enforcer. Yay for rules, boundaries, and limitations! And the episode was a riot!!

I saw the rerun last night, I haven't watched south park in forever because I got tired of it, I have a hundred other shows I don't have time to watch LOL, but it was awesome! tssst!
