Yet another update from Gabby and me!! We are completly back to normal now!! She has almost stopped jumping on people (finaly!!) We havn't been able to go to our normal off leash area since winter started.. but now that it is getting warmer, I think we may go out next weekend so they can burn off some spring steam
We had to temp. move to the brothers house due to Gabby being attacked by a GSD at our old place..(HE evicted US!!) Gabby was on the leash (as always) going potty.. when the upstairs neighbor just let his dogs out (no leashes) and the GSD instantly ran up and attacked poor Gabby Hubby didn't see her comming untill she was latched on Gabby.. hubby fought back and the GSD ran off.. it tried to attack 3 more different times.. but I was ready (baseball bat) and never let her near us.. That dog is a disgrace to the GSD name.. she attacks people and other animals at a drop of a hat...(and he wants to breed her???) Anyway.. the laws up here don't say anything about dog on dog attacks so they only gave him a ticket for his dog being loose. Luckly.. the attack didn't seem to phase her as she still plays well with others LOL
One saddle is an off brand aussie type saddle.. the other one is a Wintec Pro Dressage. I don't much care to ride english.. but I can't afford a custom Synergist yet and the Wintec has the adjustable gullets in it.. so I know it will fit her till I muster up the moola for a custom
have you thought about going to the Chena Flood Channel in North Pole and letting the dogs run there when it warms up. That's where I'll be planning to take mine.
Chrissie
