I'm not disagreeing with you Connie, I think there is good intent behind the rules and the search function might be finicky but I don't have a problem with it. But dog training is an ever evolving thing and what was answered last year or five years ago may not be the "correct" answer now.
As far as pics and bandwidth most forums this large sell advertising which allows them to use faster better servers with more space. I frequent a lot of forums and as the community grows the forum changes, updates, and reinvents itself as necessary with help of advertising dollars. Obviously this is not the way Ed wants to go to keep his board under control and scaled and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, but most are used to a different approach.

I just wanted to add that it is pretty important to have a foto of you with your dog... so many people can put a pic up when they dont even own the dogs. i saw that probleem once in another forum. gtrz
