You could check out Adrian Moreno in Chicago. He's bred some good boxers from the VERY few remaining lines that can work in the US. He's also bred some european lines as well. http://www.eurochien.com
Although he mostly trains malinois for ring, he loves boxers.
The boxers that are in wisconsin do sch. at a lady by the name of Cathy Markos' house. Her and her husband run the LaCrosse dog training company here in wis. I have seen them work, very impressive! The young lady fom finland and her husband drive from appleton to lacrosse twice a week.I can't remember there names off the top of my head but give me a while and maybe I will think of it... nope, anyway if you would like to contact them there web sight is http://www.lacrossedogtraining.com they have some nice dogs. I heard that at a trial last summer every Boxer there knocked down the helper. BL
Hey Russ by no means am I saying that anyone was wrong but I did want to tell you that I also have a boxer who has been in protection work and he is doing pretty well. When Diesel was about 9 to 10 months he was a little skittish of loud sounds as well, but he came around and is no longer easily spooked. We trained him out in a park near a road and it helped. We basically used different environments to train in. Also the bark, Diesel will not bark if someone is at my door he will, well the best way to describe it is he blows air out of his mouth almost like a b sound. The difference is I actually like that better. Like I said though by no means am I saying anyone was wrong just letting you know I understand.
